The Benefit for GH

Dear Benefit 2020 Friends and Supporters,

We hope you and your families are safe and well. In the weeks since we had the pleasure of partnering with you on what was becoming a truly beautiful Benefit event, our world has turned upside down. The effects of this pandemic are palpable in all of our lives. The bond that we share with each other and our hospital is stronger than ever.

As the original Benefit 2020 date of May 15 is upon us, we can’t help but think of you, our remarkable supporters, who helped get us to such incredible heights of fundraising and in-kind support for our event. We want to take this moment to thank you again for your dedication to Greenwich Hospital, as well as for your enthusiasm towards our signature fundraising event. You consistently uplift our efforts making the preparation for our Benefit stimulating and fun. We embrace your energy and your spirit.

We are very much looking forward to the day when we can come together as a community to celebrate Greenwich Hospital and our phenomenal healthcare heroes! There has been an outpouring of donations and volunteer engagement from hundreds of people–our new friends–who are asking to maintain their involvement with us post-pandemic.

Until the state and our community have issued guidelines for reopening, our timeline and plans for formally launching the May 2021 Benefit must remain a quiet effort behind the scenes.

When we are able to officially begin the development and outreach for 2021, we truly hope that we can count on you to rejoin us as a sponsor, supporter, and/or committee member. We have already received substantial interest in our future events, and we will also be encouraging you to invite more friends and colleagues to help grow our event when the time comes.

As Greenwich Hospital works diligently to care for all of us in this time of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are grateful for your vigilance in helping to support the hospital and lessen the impact of the spread of the virus. We will be in touch when we are in a position to do so, and appreciate your patience.

Our commitment to you is unwavering; we are forever thankful for your continued generosity and partnership in support of the important work of our hospital.

With gratitude from the Office of Development,
