The Joseph Keane Fund at Greenwich Hospital
We can’t take anyone’s pain away, but we can help families receive compassionate care and closure after their loss. – Jessica and Tim Keane
We are excited to share that Greenwich Hospital Yale New Haven Health will be implementing the Perinatal Bereavement Program, which was initially developed at Bridgeport Hospital. This important program is funded by the Joseph Keane Fund, and provides support and services to families who experience the unexpected and life-changing loss of a baby.
It has always been our goal to share the wonderful benefits of the program with other hospitals within the Yale New Haven Health system. We are incredibly happy about the prospect of bringing comfort and support to other families who experience early loss of their child.
As Greenwich is a separate hospital within the system, it must resource its program separately. To that end, we ask you to consider a gift to start the Joseph Keane Fund at Greenwich Hospital to support this important expansion of the Perinatal Bereavement Program to its patients and families.
Initial funding will support the program startup costs and training as well as supplies.
Please know that due to your ongoing generous support, the Joseph Keane Fund at Bridgeport Hospital is well resourced and will support the Bridgeport program for many years to come. We hope that you will consider continuing your generosity this year and contribute to the next step for the Joseph Keane Fund at Greenwich Hospital. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
With love,
Jess and Tim
