To address disparities in access to cancer care and support, Greenwich Hospital offers free screening mammograms to uninsured and under-insured local women.

Using state-of-the-art mammography, Greenwich Hospital last year screened over 150 patients from this vulnerable population. To help offset costs of the advanced level of care, one of the hospital’s community partners, the Greenwich Fire Department, recently donated $1,800 from monies raised from pink t-shirt sales in the fall.

At the upcoming June 22, 2018 Under the Stars fundraising event in support of Women’s and Children’s Services, free screening mammograms will be included in the ‘Wish List’ items selected by the hospital’s breast services department.

It is with great appreciation that Greenwich Hospital accepts this donation on behalf of the patients we serve.

If you qualify for a free mammogram, call 203-863-3031 for an appointment and ask about the Free Mammogram Program.
