Reach for Stars

Support the Future of Greenwich Hospital.
Your gift toward Under the Stars will impact Pediatrics and Women’s Health. The sky’s the limit!

Equipment and Technology Fund

Impacting patients’ lives in real time is the driving force behind all we do at Greenwich Hospital. Your support will help fund a wide array of items to provide our doctors, nurses and clinical staff with the most up-to-date medical technology and equipment.

In Pediatrics, examples of medical equipment and technology to purchase include comfort kits for children, a vision screener, a portable EKG monitor for the NICU, pediatric cribs, and Giraffe™ warmers. A requested gamma camera will support heart health in both pediatrics and women’s health. Support the Pediatrics Equipment and Technology Fund.

In Women’s Health, funds will be directed toward the purchase of items such as breast cancer survivorship programs, an IVF/Fertility ultrasound system, and labor and delivery IV carts. Included in women’s health is attention to patients at risk of heart disease. Heart and vascular items to fund include an intra-aortic balloon pump. Support the Women’s Health Equipment and Technology Fund.

Education Fund

Providing educational resources to patients and clinicians helps promote shared decision-making and improves health behaviors.

In Pediatrics, funds will support cancer education packets for children, neonatal education program for nurses, pregnancy exercise and nutrition initiative, bicycle helmets and head injury awareness, infant and child CPR classes with life-sized mannequins, and education booklets for cardiovascular patients. Support the Pediatrics Education Fund.

In Women’s Health, funds will be directed toward the purchase of educational materials for women’s heart awareness and disease management, and for expecting mothers with gestational diabetes. Educational opportunities for our clinicians include online access to services like Perinatal Quality Foundation Genetics Education modules. Support the Women’s Health Education Fund.
