Patricia Calayag, MD
Honoree

Patricia Calayag, MD, director of obstetrics/gynecology
Dr. Calayag’s scope of practice includes general obstetrics and gynecology, both high- and low-risk pregnancies with special interest in fertility, laparoscopy and adolescent to menopausal medicine. She touches the lives of many individuals through her practice, and holds the position of deputy medical director at Westmed Medical Group. In addition, she has a great impact on population health through her leadership roles at both the hospital and Westmed. Dr. Calayag’s work in clinical and administrative policy led to initiatives for physicians to screen patients for domestic violence and depression. She also challenged fellow obstetricians to address national concerns over the rising cesarean section rate.
