David Yurman hosts event in support of Greenwich Hospital Benefit

David Yurman fundraiser for Greenwich Hospital

Greenwich, CT (February 7, 2020) – Friends of Greenwich Hospital gathered for a festive evening at The Westchester’s David Yurman boutique, enjoying cocktails and shopping in support of the hospital’s annual Benefit.

David Yurman hosted the pre-Valentine’s Day shopping event on Thursday, February 6, donating 10 percent of the evening’s proceeds to the Greenwich Hospital Benefit, which will take place on May 15.

The evening was attended by more than 50 hospital supporters, benefit committee members, trustees and hospital leadership, and included a jewelry raffle from David Yurman’s latest collection. In addition, the jewelry designer will continue to donate 10 percent of all sales at The Westchester location to Greenwich Hospital, through February 9 to purchasers who mention the hospital.

“Tonight directly supports our upcoming Greenwich Hospital Benefit for neuroscience, pediatrics and women’s health. And I am so thankful to the David Yurman team for providing us with a wonderful opportunity to raise funds for and to shine light on these important clinical areas,” said Diane Kelly, executive vice president & COO, Greenwich Hospital, who addressed the party’s attendees.

“We are truly grateful by the amount of community support for Greenwich Hospital’s largest fundraiser,” said benefit co-chair Lindsay Gurciullo. “We are thrilled that we have already raised close to $700,000 for the benefit — more than 50 percent of our $1.25 million goal – and we are projecting to sell out the 600 tickets.”

Headlining this year’s annual benefit, which will take place at Greenwich Country Club, is multiplatinum singer and songwriter Andy Grammer. Rounding out the evening’s celebrity lineup will be master of ceremonies Kathie Lee Gifford, former Today Show co-host, singer, actress and author.

This year’s Benefit honors James A. Brunetti, DO and the Arthur and Elizabeth Martinez Family.

Neuroscience, Pediatrics and Women’s Health at Greenwich Hospital

The Greenwich Hospital Benefit will help further fund a clinical growth plan inclusive of equipment, technologies, physician specialists, medical facilities and research to ensure a level of care that is unsurpassed in the community. Donations from patrons and supporters of the Greenwich Hospital Benefit directly enhance the areas of neuroscience, pediatrics and women’s health.
