COVID-19 Resources

We want to thank the community for adhering to social distancing and staying at home. It is the difference between our hospital being overwhelmed and being able to care for the volume of patients we are seeing. By delaying the peak and suppressing the curve, we will be able to have adequate supplies, PPE, ventilators, staff and ICU rooms.

If you have questions about COVID-19, the Yale New Haven Health COVID-19 Call Center can be reached 7 am – 7 p.m., 7 days a week, 833-ASK-YNHH (833-275-9644).

Greenwich Hospital has an outdoor COVID-19 Specimen Collection Station tent. Because COVID-19 testing is not appropriate for every patient with respiratory symptoms, you must have an order from your healthcare provider to receive a test. For more on testing centers and how to be tested, visit Yale New Haven Health COVID-19 Testing.

See a clinician today using your smartphone or tablet. Video Care OnDemand provides you with video access to Yale New Haven Health’s clinicians for minor medical concerns. Available Monday – Friday from 7am – 7pm. Learn more.

COVID-19 Support Funds

The Greenwich Hospital Office of Development has established two emergency funds which will provide critical support to the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic. One support fund will be directed toward capital expenses, including equipment. The second support fund will be dedicated toward operational expenses. It will enable our clinical staff to sustain their resilience and continue to provide safe, high-quality care to our patients and community. Make a donation now.

Donation of Medical Supplies

While the Greenwich Hospital Yale New Haven Health does not normally accept donations of supplies and equipment, the outbreak of COVID-19 has restricted the quantities of protective equipment our caregivers need. We currently need disposable head covers, gowns, gloves, N95 respirators and more. All items should in original unopened packaging. Please submit inquiries to with contact information for our staff to respond to. Learn more at YNHHS.

Hand Sewn Masks

If you or an organization would like to donate hand sewn masks, we are asking that you use this pocket pattern. If you have already sewn masks that do not follow the pocket mask pattern, Yale New Haven Health will still accept those and redirect them to shelters being set up for our community’s homeless population.

Donations of sewn masks are being accepted at the Yale New Haven Health Regional Operations Center only Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 2:00pm at:
