“I have long admired the quality of medicine and care at Greenwich Hospital. My aunt, Helen Frankenthaler, was in and out of Greenwich Hospital for part of her last decade and I was frequently there with her. Now that I have a house in the area I wanted to help the hospital in any way I could. Please give whatever you can.”Fred Iseman
Dear Friends,
Community member Fred Iseman’s reflection about what motivated him to support the Greenwich Hospital Covid-19 funds is quite fitting as we head into the heart of spring. His initial connection to Greenwich Hospital stems from his aunt, a world-renowned artist whose use of color was a hallmark of her work.
As we continue to face this unprecedented challenge, colorful signs of renewal and hope surround us, found in the beauty of spring and the celebrations of Easter and Passover. For our Greenwich Hospital staff those signs of hope are also present in the heartwarming support and solidarity coming from our community. Every warm meal delivered to our staff, hand-sewn mask donned by a caregiver, donation of personal protective equipment, and gift to our hospital’s Covid-19 funds have been meaningful and uplifting.
In the spirit of Mr. Iseman’s aunt, Helen Frankenthaler, we look toward more colorful days ahead.
