2013 Gala for Greenwich Hospital
Saturday, October 19, 2013
6:00 - 11:30 pM at Greenwich Country Club
By all accounts the Harvest Moon 2013 Gala to support the Emergency Department at Greenwich Hospital was a resounding success. Hundreds of guests enjoyed cocktails and an array of silent auction selections in the fire lit living room at Greenwich Country Club. They were later led down a heated pathway to a tent that was transformed into a romantic woodland setting for dinner, dancing and a spirited live auction. During the evening, Connecticut State Senator Scott Frantz was honored with The President's Award for his outstanding service to Greenwich Hospital and the communities we serve.
Many thanks to chairwoman Vicki Leeds Tananbaum and her dedicated committee for putting together an enchanting evening that guests will remember for autumns to come. Greenwich Hospital is also deeply appreciative to the guests and contributors to this event. Special thanks go to sponsors Jane and Alan Batkin, Shelley and Grant Behrman, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burke, Icy and Scott Frantz, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tudor Jones, Susan E. Lynch, Linda and Vincent McMahon, Indra and Raj Nooyi, Mimi and Peter Santry, Marree and John Townsend and Mrs. Glora Van Norden and corporate sponsors which included: Anheuser-Busch, In Bev, Deutsch Family Wines & Spirits, Eder Brothers Fine Wines & Spirits, Nestle Waters North America, Warner Music Group, Zonin Proseco and Zyr Vodka. Greenwich Hospital Galas and Benefits
Greenwich Hospital holds three major fundraising events each year: the Gala for Greenwich Hospital, in October; Great Chefs, in March and Under the Stars, in July. All our events are community events with many opportunities for everyone in the community to be involved.
In recent years, our fundraisers have benefited the Cancer Institute (now the Smilow Cancer Hospital Greenwich Hospital Campus), the Emergency Department, the Pediatrics Department, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and the important outreach programs, services and support groups provided by Community Health at Greenwich Hospital.
For more information about fundraising events or to volunteer on a committee, please contact Stephanie Dunn Ashley at 203-863-3865 or by email at Stephanie.Ashley@greenwichhospital.org.
